1)
The installation guide is the file anti-bot-question-mod_v_3_0_0.txt.

2)
After installation only the english language version is installed.
Other languages you find in the folder other_languages/lang_???.
The installation guide for each language is the file other_languages/lang_???/install.txt

3)
After installation the Anti Bot Question MOD (ABQ) is deactivated.
You must activate ABQ manually after installation. ABQ can be activated
as follow:
ACP > Anti Bot Question MOD > Configuration (Anti Bot Question MOD activate/deaktivate)
You may select if ABQ is activated for registrations and/or guest posting.

4)
The following variables need to be configured:
- Name of the agreed variable
- Value of the agreed variable
- Name of the email variable in the registration form
- The value of the POST variable in the Anti Bot question.
These settings can also be made at
ACP > Anti Bot Question MOD > Configuration (General Configuration)

5)
Configure what questions ABQ should display (Individual and/or Automatic
questions).
(ACP > Anti Bot Question MOD > Configuration)

6)
Should you select "Individual Questions" then please replace the default
questions with your own custom questions. Note that questions where there
are only two answers (e.g. Yes or No) are generally unsafe and considered to
be fully readable by bots. Make sure you create questions with at least four
answers.
(ACP > Anti Bot Question MOD > Administrate Individual Questions)

7)
Should you select "Automatic Questions" then you will need to define the
type of questions. There are text and graphic questions. The graphic questions
are considered to have higher bot protection then the text ones.
We urge you to take a good look at the available questions and judge for
yourself the level of complexity you want to expose to your visitors. We
recommend you activate the multiple choise answer option in the general
configuration, which makes answering the questions a bit easier for human
visitors.
(ACP > Anti Bot Question MOD > Administrate Automatic Questions)

NOTE:

The "Use multi-images" option requires sufficient free harddrive space on
your webserver. Is this option activated, then ABQ will cache all image
data on the webserver harddrive. Per visitor (session) up to 7 images will
be saved (size per image between 1KB up to 4KB without the FreeType Library
and between 1KB up to 9KB with the FreeType Library). After the session
closes, these images are deleted automatically. We strongly suggest you
evaluate the amount of visitors you have, the average session duration and
available harddrive space before activating this option.
