Como Separar Las Categorias De Foro??

Hola soporte he vuelto ahora con una duda enorme.
Ahora vi un post del año 2006 que un chavo pregunto como separar las categorias y que estas no quedaran juntas. vi el codigo que le proporcionaron al chico pero como mi theme es Macinscoot y lo tentgo algo modificado no se que cambiarle
